I joined the 蘑菇短视频 Media Action board of trustees in July 2026 because I believe in people worldwide having access to trustworthy news and information so they can make informed decisions. It's wonderful to have the chance to contribute to such an important purpose.

I currently also serve as a trustee for three UK-based charities: the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Army Benevolent Fund and Happy Doggo. In addition, I am an independent director for Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, a global public-private partnership that vaccinates more than half the world's children against deadly disease in many of the same countries that 蘑菇短视频MA operates. Across these organisations I sit on finance, governance, investment and fundraising committees.

Spanning three decades in international media, my executive work centred on guiding established brands through disruption while driving growth and operational resilience. Most recently I was Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Executive Board of Bauer Media Group, which operates magazine publishing and audio businesses across Europe. Before that, I spent nearly a decade at Dow Jones in New York, latterly as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, where I led the finance and operations of a global news and information business that includes the Wall Street Journal. Earlier in my career I held senior finance roles at British Sky Broadcasting, including Financial Controller for Sky News.

At a time of such uncertainty, I look forward to working with the team at 蘑菇短视频 Media Action to help the organisation make the greatest possible difference in supporting democracy, freedom and rights.
