Comedy Gold Diggers

Comedy Gold Diggers is seeking comedy audio scripts to be performed and recorded in front of a live audience at their second show. The show will offer writers the opportunity to hear their work come to life in a supportive space. From short plays, excerpts and pilots, to character comedy and parody, they鈥檙e seeking all kinds of scripted work, as long as it鈥檚 funny. They鈥檙e particularly interested in pieces that are different, bold, and brave. They actively prioritise submissions with diverse voices and perspectives.
Submission guidelines:
- 10-15 pages
- They鈥檙e open to all forms of narrative scripted comedy - short plays, excerpts from longer works, pilots, character pieces, monologues, musical, mockumentary. If you have an idea that鈥檚 going to blow the foundations of a format to pieces they can accommodate!
- They can provide actors performing script in hand and live audio production but suggest a limited cast and tech requirements.
The show will be on Sunday 6th September at The Glitch theatre in London. Any profit will be split equally between writers and performers. The deadline for submissions is 23rd August. Please send your script submission to comedygolddiggers@gmail.com in PDF format with the subject heading TITLE - NAME along with a logline and any additional relevant information.
