'Amazing' legacy of Lexi's letter

The wishes of a fourteen-year-old Leicester girl who died last year are being used to teach future medical students at the University of Leicester. Lexi Johnson, from Leicester, was born with a rare illness and spent months getting intensive treatment, before she sadly passed away in 2025. While she was in hospital, Lexi made a list of helpful tips and tricks she wanted to pass on to medical staff to help them know how best to communicate with young patients like her. Lexi's younger sister Ella has voiced the words written in the letter, and Lexi's mum Liz and University of Leicester lecturer in Children's Nursing Steve Caldwell spoke to Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Leicester's Ady Dayman.
