Thousands take part in Colin Bloomfield Sun Safe campaign

The campaign marked 10 years since the death of Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Derby presenter Colin Bloomfield. Colin died at the age of 33 after being diagnosed with melanoma skin cancer. During the campaign 15,000 primary school children received sun safe lessons and thousands of outdoor workers were offered free sun safety training from the charity Skcin. As well as this, 600 people attended our skin educational sessions with dermatologists from Derby and Burton Hospitals NHS Trust, with 120 being referred for further investigation.
