During WWII, America joined the war and deployed people to the UK after the Pearl Harbour attack by Japan. The American GIs left quite an impression in Dorset. Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ reporter Abigail Busenze Balagadde visits Dorset to meet with John Stockely, the son of Madison Glover, a Black GI who served in Dorset during WWII. She also speaks with Louisa Adjoa Parker, the author of '1944 We Were Here: African American GIs in Dorset'.
