Tracy Holyland from Rayleigh is a full-time carer for her son Harrison. He has Emmanuel syndrome which affects his physical and mental development. Harrison was given a life expectancy of just 10 years but is now 22 years old. Tracy is described as “an absolute saint” in her nomination, but she says she “just gets on with it”.
