Coventry runner Haroon is gearing up for his sixth World Major Marathon

Coventry born runner Haroon Mota is running the 2023 Boston Marathon. It will be his sixth world marathon major, and will earn him the title of Six Star Finisher after completing other major world marathons; London, Berlin, Chicago, New York and Tokyo. He's running to raise money for Charity Right, which provides school meals to vulnerable children around the world. He's currently training during the month of Ramadan, meaning he's fasting for 16 hours a day. Last year, Haroon ran a total of 260km while fasting during the month of Ramadan, he managed to raise £52,000 for charity.
