Should fashion brands use AI-generated models?

Outside Source

Available for over a year

US jeans brand Levi's has announced it would partner with Lalaland.ai, an AI-powered digital fashion studio, to increase "the number and diversity" of their models. The announcement has been met with backlash from the industry, particularly from models who are already underrepresented in fashion. Two models - Luana and Sultan - describe why they feel the announcement will cause more harm than good. “They’re replacing us for a digital fantasy.” (Photo: Cropped Figure Of A Fashionable Model Walking The Catwalk In A White Designer Outfit.
