Kongo Dia Ntotila live at Latitude Festival

Late Junction

Available for over a year

Congolese jazz ensemble Kongo Dia Ntotila perform Mutwashi from their new album 360° on the ĢƵ Introducing stage at Latitude. The self-described 'Afro-JOY' outfit is led by Kinshasa-born bassist Mulele Matondo, a teacher of Congolese and African musics. Introducing this track Mulele said, "Some people claim blues come from Mali but the regional people say the blues come from Congo.” The Introducing stage at Latitude was a handpicked lineup of the most exciting emerging artists who have uploaded their music to the ĢƵ Introducing website. Late Junction continued our long affinity with the Lavish Lounge stage in the enchanted woods of the festival to bring you some of our favourite performances.
