Imagine making a living sifting through garbage, looking for items to sell for recycling. That is the daily reality for a growing number of South Africans as the country's economy continues to stumble. The hawkers hit the streets of the wealthy suburbs at the crack of dawn, before the garbage trucks arrive, looking for any items than can be recycled. Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Africa's Sophie Ribstein joined one of them in Johannesburg to find out how they manage to eke out an existence in this way.
