Terms and Conditions
All event tickets are issued on behalf of the ĢƵ (“The Organiser”).
The use of a ticket signifies agreement to the terms and conditions indicated here and displayed within the event premises, any of which may be changed at the Organiser’s discretion.
- This event is for those aged 18 and over. Proof of age may be requested upon entry - only a photo driving licence or a passport will be accepted as valid forms of identification.
- Tickets for this event are free and managed by ĢƵ Shows & Tours. Tickets cannot be sold for monetary value or used as prizes for competitions or giveaways.
- Tickets will be given away in pairs with names selected at random via a ballot process managed by ĢƵ Shows and Tours. You must be aged 18+ and living in the UK (including the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man) to be eligible for tickets.
- Tickets will be made available on a geographically favourable basis: 70% of tickets will be given to Stirling postcodes and 30% of tickets will be given to the rest of the UK.
- Only one application will be accepted per person, multiple applications will not be eligible for selection. Applicants must give their main residential address when applying. Please do not apply for tickets if you think you may be unable to use them.
- The ticket registration will close at 9pm on Monday 10 August. Any applications received after this time will not be eligible.
- Successful applicants will be sent a pair of e-tickets from Thursday 14 August. If you do not receive a pair of e-tickets, then your application has not been successful.
- Tickets for this event are in the form of e-tickets and must be printed out at home or displayed on a mobile device to gain entry to the event.

- The Organiser reserves the right to cancel the ticket-giveaway at any stage, if in its opinion it is deemed necessary, or if circumstances arise outside its control. The Organiser will not be liable for any costs or expenses incurred in the event of cancellation.
- The event will start at 7pm on Thursday 10 September and is expected to end at 9pm. Doors open at 6.30pm, with last entry into the event is 6.45pm.
- Tickets have been over-allocated, and entrance is subject to a pre-agreed venue capacity. Entry is on a first-come, first-served basis and is not guaranteed. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission to ticket holders with valid e-tickets for the event. The Organiser will not be liable for any costs or expenses incurred by ticket holders with valid e-tickets including but not limited to travel or accommodation costs if admission is refused.
- Admission to this event is subject to the Event Organiser’s terms and conditions; and any other entry requirements recommended or required by government on the date of the event which may include any entry requirements recommended or required by government. Failure to comply with such requirements may result in refusal of admission to the event. The use of a ticket signifies you agree to this.
- The Organiser reserves the right to refuse anyone entry to the venue at their discretion and any person who fails to comply with instructions from a steward or other person acting on behalf of the Organiser may be ejected. Anyone found to be causing damage to the venue, the venue infrastructure, causing harm to any other ticketholder, behaving in an illegal, anti-social or aggressive manner, appearing to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol or in breach of these conditions will be ejected and may be reported to the police.
- The Organiser reserves the right to search all persons and personal property upon entry. They will refuse admission to, or eject from the venue, any person who refuses to be searched by a steward, member of security or venue representative.
- No food, alcohol or soft drinks may be taken into the venue. Empty reusable water bottles are permitted to be taken into the venue. Please note that you will be able to purchase drinks inside the venue, but not food.
- The use of mobile phones, including filming or audio recording, is strictly prohibited during the performance.
- The following articles are not permitted at this event - animals (with the exception of assistance dogs), knives, fireworks, laser pens, smoke or gas canisters (including aerosols and nitrous oxide), megaphones, luggage or oversized bags, air-horns, sound systems, flags, flares, cans, bottles or glass containers, weapons, dangerous or hazardous items, laser devices, glass vessels, poles, selfie-sticks, chairs, unauthorised items for trading, including any goods using unauthorised event logos or unofficial tabards and any article that might be used as a weapon and / or compromise public safety.
- All drugs, including legal highs, are prohibited at this event. Ticket holders may be refused admission / ejected from the event and reported to the police if found to be in possession. Sniffer dogs may be in operation.
- Unauthorised professional photography or use of professional recording equipment and lenses are prohibited and will not be permitted at this venue.
- This event will be recorded for transmission on ĢƵ platforms. Ticket holders give their consent to the use of their actual or simulated likeness in connection with the production, exhibition, advertising or exploitation of any film, video and/or audio recording of this event and/or any element thereof in any/all media throughout the world. Ticket holders also agree to being filmed by police or security staff for the purposes of helping ensure the security of customers and preventing crime.
- The Organiser shall not be liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense, except in the case of death or personal injury if due to any negligent act or omission on the part of the Organiser.
- Persons attending the event are responsible for their own valuables and personal possessions. The Organiser and The Venue will not be liable for any loss or damage to personal property brought to the event.
- The ĢƵ will only use personal details for the purposes of administering this ticket giveaway and will not publish them or provide them to anyone without permission. You can read more about the ĢƵ Privacy Policy at bbc.co.uk/usingthebbc/privacy.
Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that as not everyone who asks for tickets uses them, to make sure we have a full house we send out more tickets than there are places. We do our best to get the numbers right, but unfortunately we occasionally have to disappoint people.
Duplicate applications will be disregarded.
