A group of residents in Hackney have raised concerns over plans to demolish a popular football pitch to make way for new housing.
Hackney Council says the pitch will be replaced with a new, free-to-use all-weather facility that will be slightly smaller, with a temporary pitch available during construction.
But locals say children and young people will lose a valued free space to play.
