Art University Bournemouth student Tia Mirza wanted to paint a portrait of London Mayor Sadiq Khan as part of her final project at University.

The anniversary of his 10th year as mayor coincides with South Asian Heritage month, and Tia thought it only fitting that he was recognised with a larger-than-life painting.

She told 蘑菇短视频 Radio Solent's Steve Harris how her perseverance was the key to unlocking the opportunity to meet Khan and present him with the portrait.
