Today's Babies: Birth Stories
Baroness Amos’ Report as Chair of the Independent National Maternity and Neonatal Investigation has found a system that is "fragmented, overly complex and too slow to learn and improve”.
"We need national standards to frame maternity and neonatal care against which we can then test how trusts are doing, how care is being delivered," Baroness Amos told us on Today.
As part of our project, Today’s Babies, we are following three families from pregnancy through the first five years of their children’s lives. We have been speaking to them about their birth experiences.
