Baroness Amos鈥� Report as Chair of the Independent National Maternity and Neonatal Investigation has found a system that is "fragmented, overly complex and too slow to learn and improve鈥�.

"We need national standards to frame maternity and neonatal care against which we can then test how trusts are doing, how care is being delivered," Baroness Amos told us on Today.

As part of our project, Today鈥檚 Babies, we are following three families from pregnancy through the first five years of their children鈥檚 lives. We have been speaking to them about their birth experiences.
