Nature's SAFE in Whitchurch has reached a major milestone in its fight against extinction.

They freeze and store cells from 200 endangered species, ranging from African elephants to Scotland鈥檚 wildcats in liquid nitrogen at 鈥�196掳C to create a cryogenic 鈥渢ime capsule鈥�.

Tullis Matson from the charity hopes that in the future animals could be revived "just by thawing them out".
