The long-forgotten Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ broadcast
Why was a village church chosen for the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ’s first outside broadcast from Cambridgeshire?
In April 1926, what is believed to be the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ’s first outside broadcast from Cambridgeshire was aired.
But rather than coming from somewhere like King’s College Chapel in Cambridge, the 15-minute programme featured a concert from a church in the village of Doddington.
