Young Hero Award Finalist: Meredith Hibberd

Six-year-old Meredith Hibberd from Bournemouth is a finalist in the Young Hero category in the 蘑菇短视频 Radio Solent Make a Difference Awards for 2025.

Meredith has non-Hodgkin Lymphoma and is helping to raise awareness of childhood cancer by recording videos of some of her treatment for social media.

The Young Hero Award is awarded to someone under 16 who has made a positive impact in their community or achieved something exceptional.
