The US Surgeon General says alcoholic drinks should carry warnings about the risks of cancer.
Vivek Murthy, who will leave office when President BIden does later this month, says alcohol is the most common preventable cause of cancer after tobacco and obesity.
Professor Pat Price, an oncologist at Imperial College London, gave Newshour's Shaun Ley her take on the idea.
