The British businessman, David Crisp, was caught on camera confessing he was illegally selling luxury perfume to Russia. But the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ has learned he is not facing criminal charges.
When Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the UK government brought in sanctions banning the sale of luxury goods to Russia.
Breaking those rules is a serious crime, with a maximum prison sentence of 10 years.
But the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ has learned that the British businessman, David Crisp, who was secretly filmed confessing that he was violating the sanctions is not facing criminal charges.
