It's a tricky time for butchers, with a growing number of people opting for reduced-meat and meat-free diets.
They also have to compete with cheaper alternatives being sold at supermarkets.
That's why one Oxfordshire butcher is encouraging people support their local meat-sellers and learn more about the food they eat in the process.
Justin, from Crick's Family Butchers in Wheatley, got in touch with Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Radio Oxford after hearing a mistake in a news bulletin, prompting newsreader Chris McHugh to pay him a visit.
