Maidenhead's Holocaust hero, remembered by his son
Hundreds of lives were saved during World War Two thanks to the work of Sir Nicholas Winton. In 1939, he arranged for 669 Jewish children to be brought to Britain from Nazi-occupied Prague.
His heroic work was highlighted on the TV show That's Life in 1988 - and his life is now being dramatised in a biopic, One Life, starring Anthony Hopkins as Sir Nicholas.
