Coleen Rooney: ‘It was just mentally draining'
Last year, Coleen Rooney won a libel case brought against her by Rebekah Vardy, after she accused Vardy’s Instagram account as being the source of a leak of stories about her to The Sun newspaper. Rooney’s investigation about the leak was dubbed ‘Wagatha Christie.’ Rebekah Vardy continues to deny she was the source of those stories.
In a radio exclusive interview, ahead of her new documentary, Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story, that comes out tonight on Disney+, Coleen said that the court case against her was mentally draining, and she wanted to drop out of the legal battle many times.
You can listen to her full interview on Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Sounds – it’s the Woman’s Hour episode from 18 October.
