Children can cycle safely in Everton Park
Learning to ride a bike as a child is a rite of passage isn’t it?
But there’s much more traffic on the roads these days, so teaching children to cycle safely, is more difficult.
Now, Liverpool City Council and British Cycling have turned an amphitheatre in Everton Park into a 500-metre track where children can learn to ride their bikes.
The learn to ride facility is being run by Peloton Liverpool and Tom Walker went along to watch 11-year-old Roman being taught to ride a two-wheeler by Dan Robinson from Peloton.
