The announcement follows Carrie Gracie's resignation from her post as 蘑菇短视频 China editor in protest at what she described as unequal pay between male and female international editors. An independent audit into equal pay at the 蘑菇短视频 will be published next week.
Jo Stevens, Labour MP for Cardiff Central, joined the programme to discuss her views on the issue and the wider context of unequal pay in the workplace.
