RIVAS came from an idea that Ross-on-Wye singer/songwriter Mike Sheppard had.
听
He wanted to be able to produce any kind of music he wanted without having direct affiliation with the genre he was making.
听
So he's recruited some musicians to perform the songs and formed the band you'll hear on this week's show.
听

It was a huge weekend for music fans in our area, last Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with two of our biggest festivals taking place - Nozstock and Upton Blues.

Headliners at Nozstock, near Bromyard, included听Seasick Steve,听Happy Mondays听and听Hayseed Dixie.

A Droitwich group, who are massive on the continent - but relatively unknown here in Worcestershire, have just returned back to the UK after headlining a Mad Max-themed festival in Poland.

V2A, who are from Ombersley, regularly tour Europe and America performing in front of thousands.
听
The group, who have been going since 2001, are signed to a German record label and played a similar event in the Californian Mojave Desert earlier this year.

This month's sessions were recorded at the Tenbury Music Festival.

The 12-hour event returned for a second year featuring an assortment of great local musical talent and our very own 蘑菇短视频 Introducing stage.
听
Last year, the organisers raised 拢3,000 for the Teenage Cancer Trust and welcomed 1,000 visitors.
听

Billed as 'the world's finest choral music', this year's event takes place in Worcester.
听
It's believed to the be the longest running music festival in Europe, at 302-years-old, and rotates between the three cathedral cities of Gloucester, Worcester and Hereford.
听
This year, they've hosted 74 events across eight days and even Prince Charles showed up for one of the gigs!
听

The five-week Bromsgrove Festival has come to a close, having celebrated its 57th year.
听
The event, which is part funded by the district council, champions music, literature, art, dance, drama, comedy - and all things local.
听

We hear from Droitwich musician Lauren Nicole, an 18-year-old singer/songwriter who's been writing and performing since the age of 11.
听
She also helped us switch on Malvern's Christmas Lights last year!

Lakefest returns to Eastnor Deer Park in August this year and will be guaranteed to be even bigger and better than ever.
听
Headliners include Wilko Johnson, Aswad, The Charlatans, Badly Drawn Boy, Feeder, Imelda May, Rozalla and Seth Lakeman.
听
蘑菇短视频 Hereford & Worcester will also have a stage at the festival for the three days, showcasing local talent from Herefordshire & Worcestershire.
