The build up to Saturday night鈥檚 big fight at the O2 Arena, London, between David Haye and Tony Bellew has been heated, with both fighters exchanging verbal barbs. Some believe that some of the comments have been a step too far.

Former British Super Middleweight Champion Tony Dodson is friends with both men, and has sparred with both of them. He said: 鈥淵ou鈥檙e going to get in the ring with someone and want to hurt them, David has said some underhanded things, but it鈥檚 because he鈥檚 in fight mode. You have to make yourself dislike this person.鈥�

The British Boxing Board of Control acted after a news conference in which Haye insulted fans and gave graphic descriptions of hurting Bellew.

鈥淭hese are things people have to do to sell tickets, if they are shaking hands and best mates, nobody will want to buy the fight,鈥� added Dodson.
