Is your place of worship equipped for people with disabilities?
Five worshippers at a Gurdwara in Wolverhampton alleged they were segregated from the main prayer hall as they could not observe the custom of sitting cross-legged on the floor. The Gurdwara put up screens to separate the disabled worshippers. These have now been removed following a court case.
But how accessible are places of worship to those with different disabilities. Our listeners called in to share their views.
