Lucy May Walker is a 22-year-old singer/songwriter from Redditch who's recently graduated with a first class honours degree in Performing Arts at the University of Cumbria.

She recently won the Worcestershire County Pop Icons competition and has appeared on Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Midlands Today, supported Kingsland Road and was an Open Mic UK Grand finalist earlier this year.

More recently, Lucy's supported Gary Barlow at the LG Arena in Birmingham.

The 27th Hay Festival has opened this week and tens of thousands of people from across the world will be visiting during these ten days.

Between now and 1 June, fans can hear actors such as Dame Judi Dench and Benedict Cumberbatch, listen to Cerys Matthews and Suggs and laugh at Jonny Vegas and Greg Proops.

Later this month she will be performing in the next heat for a place in July's Grand Final in Birmingham.

The Bell Inn, on Leominster's Etnam Street, is a place that is regularly hosting live music at the weekend - so we thought we'd spice up their bank holiday Sunday afternoon by inviting along some of our favourite musicians!

The venue was packed with people who turned out to catch Abby Inez, Myles Gordon, Lucy May Walker and Sea Of Atoms - and if you missed their set, we'll be bringing you the whole lot throughout May.
