‘Women aren’t allowed to have body hair’
The TV presenter and reporter Cherry Healey joins Jane Garvey on Woman’s Hour to explore the thorny issue of female body hair and discuss the extremes that people will go to for their looks. Ellis Cashmore, Professor of Culture, Media and Sport at Staffordshire University, adds his thoughts which put body-piercing on the same continuum as anorexia.
