We hear an offering from leading lights of the Turkish psychedelic resurgence, BaBa ZuLa, whose latest album distils Anatolian traditions through dreamlike narratives and unconventional song forms. London-based Palestinian nay master and percussionist Faris Ishaq explores connections between tashbib - a percussive, improvisational style of nay playing - and the rhythmic footwork of dabke dance. Plus a big blue blues from sound artist Jim Nollman, who spent years duetting with the orcas near his home in British Columbia.
