Linton Stephens introduces a week of music from some of Europe鈥檚 great summer festivals and the 蘑菇短视频 Proms.
From the 蘑菇短视频 Proms, Kirill Petrenko conducts the Berlin Philharmonic in two great Romantic works: Elgar鈥檚 much-loved Enigma Variations and Tchaikovsky鈥檚 dramatic Fourth Symphony.
From Montpellier, pianist Bertrand Chamayou performs music by Mendelssohn and Schubert, including a selection from the Songs without Words and the virtuosic Wandererfantasie.
And from the International Baroque Festival in Beaune, Emmanuelle Ha茂m conducts Le Concert d鈥橝str茅e in Pergolesi鈥檚 deeply moving Stabat Mater, with soprano Julia Lezhneva.
