Grammy-nominated Dutch-Turkish band Altın Gün brings its unique blend of psychedelic folk-rock to the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Proms for the first time, drawing on its recent Anatolian rock album Garip (‘Strange’), a tribute to the great Turkish folk musician NeÅŸet ErtaÅŸ. The band joins forces with special guest Derya Yıldırım, Jules Buckley and the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Symphony Orchestra to turn cool riffs and Anatolian folk textures into rich orchestral colours.
