A pioneering force from the first wave of UK Funky, and one of the few Black women producers helping to define the sound at its peak, Karen Nyame KG remains rooted in the percussive swing and diasporic rhythms that shaped her early work. With a new EP, Epiphany, out on Black Acre and a run of live dates ahead, she joins the 6 Mix to showcase her signature blend of Afro-electronic sounds.
