From the harsh north coast to the sub-tropical southeast, Beechgrove travels Scotland to explore a variety of gardening habitats all within one nation.

Scotland’s gardeners have to work with a huge variety of challenging conditions. In this programme we take a look at gardens and gardeners who are growing in the far corners of Scotland. From battling with the elements on the tip of Sutherland to a sub-tropical garden paradise in the Borders and growing with no soil, across the bridge over the Atlantic on the Island of Seil - these gardens and gardeners are all gardening on the very edges of Scotland.
