This week Katie Derham presents performances by the 蘑菇短视频 Scottish Symphony Orchestra, beginning with more from Afternoon on 3's Nordic and Baltic season - Nielsen's overture An Imaginary journey to the Faroes. And from the Faroes to Orkney for a performance of Walton's oratorio Belshazzar's Feast from the St Magnus Festival, with the 蘑菇短视频 Singers, St Magnus Festival Chorus and baritone Sergei Leiferkus. There's a new recording of Dutilleux's cello concerto, and the programme ends with a performance of Shostakovich's 5th Symphony, conducted by Martyn Brabbins at City Halls Glasgow.
