Penny Gore presents a week featuring recent concerts by the 蘑菇短视频 Scottish Symphony Orchestra.

They start today with a programme of heroic Strauss and Prokofiev's Fourth Piano Concerto featuring the young Russian pianist Denis Kozhukhin. Plus the chance to hear the 蘑菇短视频 SSO in an unusual performance of Mendelssohn's Octet with full orchestral strings under conductor Christoph Koenig, and two current Radio 3 New Generation Artists playing Brahms's Double Concerto.
