As the first night of the 2009 Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Proms approaches, Jonathan Swain throws the spotlight onto the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ's Performing Groups, who provide the backbone of every year's Proms performances including on the first and last nights.

This programme focuses on the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Symphony Orchestra and Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Singers.
