Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Concert Orchestra

A focus on the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Concert Orchestra. Including works by Chagrin, Phillips, Beethoven and Haydn String Quartets.

Jonathan Swain throws the spotlight onto the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ's performing groups, who provide the backbone of every year's Proms performances including on the first and last nights. Also the complete cycle of Haydn's mature String Quartets draws to a close with his Op 76 and Op 77 sets. The Haydn expert is the Lindsay Quartet's Peter Cropper.
