Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ Director General Mark Thompson has been in his job for five years, and its been a time of unprecedented turmoil in the media world. In an exclusive interview, he gives his first public reaction to the government's Digital Britain proposals to break the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ's historic monopoly on the television licence fee. He also responds to questions about the position of Sir Alan Sugar as a government advisor and presenter of The Apprentice, executive pay and expenses, and much else besides. He also gives a first reaction the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ's new proposals on taste and decency following the Radio 2 Ross/Brand affair.
