Nigel Kennedy returns to the 蘑菇短视频 Proms performing Elgar's Violin Concerto and his own compositions with some of Poland's finest jazz musicians in the Nigel Kennedy Quintet.
We celebrate violinist Nigel Kennedy's return to the 蘑菇短视频 Proms after an absence of 21 years. As well as the work that first put him on the musical map - Elgar's Violin Concerto, described by Nigel as a 'monster' - he also performs his own compositions, with some of Poland's finest jazz musicians in the Nigel Kennedy Quintet.
Paul Daniel conducts the 蘑菇短视频 Concert Orchestra and the programme is presented by Charles Hazlewood and Suzy Klein.
