A reader pointed out that this article had mistakenly described Nawaf Salam as Prime Minister of Israel (rather than Lebanon). The ECU considered the complaint in the light of the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ’s editorial standards of accuracy.
Outcome
Before the complaint was escalated to the ECU, Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ News had rectified the inaccuracy and added an explanatory note. This was enough to resolve the issue of complaint.
