- Jack Whyte is Chief Technology Officer at the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ, leading the technology and data organisation spanning linear broadcast, digital products, cloud infrastructure and the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ's use of AI
- Jack works at board and executive level on technology strategy, execution, architecture and governance.
Biography
Jack has spent three decades in engineering and product leadership across consumer internet, enterprise software and marketplaces. He spent seven years at Anaplan, rising from Senior Director of Development to Global SVP of Engineering. In that time Anaplan reached Unicorn status before going public in 2018 on the New York stock exchange.
Prior to Anaplan, Jack ran product and development for eBay Europe for six years, with teams across Europe, San Jose and India. His portfolio covered the 16 European sites, local promotional features and seller tools. He joined eBay from Linden Lab, the makers of Second Life, then the largest virtual world platform in existence. There he was Executive Director of Product, leading the inworld experience, marketplace and virtual currency, the client software and a 100-strong global customer relations group. He began his career building disease modelling systems for Leeds Health Authority. Jack is based in Yorkshire.
