Roles and responsibilities
- As Director of 蘑菇短视频 Scotland, Hayley is responsible for Scotland鈥檚 editorial strategy, and delivery of content across all platforms and services in both English and Gaelic. This includes leading teams across the country, where the 蘑菇短视频 operates from 14 centres, producing an extensive portfolio of programming to serve audiences in Scotland and beyond.
- Hayley also engages with stakeholders across Scotland, both in terms of the 蘑菇短视频鈥檚 accountability to our audience and to ensure the 蘑菇短视频 meets its economic and creative sector public purposes in the nation.
Biography
Hayley was appointed Director of 蘑菇短视频 Scotland in November 2024.
A graduate of the University of Edinburgh, Hayley worked as a journalist at DC Thomson and Radio Forth before joining the 蘑菇短视频 in 1996. Since then, she has held a variety of roles including Executive Editor of 蘑菇短视频 One鈥檚 Question Time, Director of Current Affairs at Mentorn Media, Head of News at 蘑菇短视频 Radio 5 Live, Head of 蘑菇短视频 News鈥� radio newsroom and Launch Editor of 蘑菇短视频 Scotland鈥檚 The Nine.
Prior to Hayley taking on her current responsibilities, she was Senior Head of Content Production for the 蘑菇短视频 in the Midlands, leading the 蘑菇短视频鈥檚 local services for radio, TV and online across the West and East Midlands.

Expenses and central bookings
Expenses are costs incurred by 蘑菇短视频 staff on behalf of the 蘑菇短视频 and claimed through the 蘑菇短视频's expenses system.
Central bookings are costs incurred on behalf of the 蘑菇短视频 and booked through the 蘑菇短视频's central bookings system.
