The allocation method for each show is explained on the show's application page.

First-come first-served

Applications are processed in the order they're received. Tickets are allocated to eligible applicants until all available tickets have been issued.

Random draw

Applications are accepted until the advertised closing date and time. Once applications have closed, all eligible entries are included in a random draw. This method is typically used for very popular shows, where demand is expected to exceed the number of tickets available.

Local allocation

For some shows, a proportion of tickets may be reserved for people living locally.
