"The radio told me the offspring of the mentally ill are creative, perhaps introverted and/or anti-social. In 1961 my schoolgirl paintings were shown on Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ TV. Even A level biology botanical drawings and dissection sketches were fun! Woman's Hour accompanied my sewing, dressmaking, cooking and decorating. The Today programme and Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Truths gave me thoughts to mull over while gardening and occasionally provided themes for my primary teaching of Drama and Religious and multicultural education. Now a novice painter, no longer stimulating Art, I'm entertained, in touch, learning all the time with subjects to chat about."
