Jenny Evans, a slip of a thing in her thirties, has stacked up enough experience to rank with the most grizzled of tricoteuses. She came into the studio earlier in the week, pushing a large whicker wheelie filled with samples and accompanied by her son Hugh, four-and-a-half, garrulous. He kept quiet for a bit while David asked Jenny how she got started.
