Radio Oxford gains 20,000 new listeners over a year

Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Radio Oxford has gained 20,000 extra listeners over the last year and now
has an average weekly audien-ce of 100,000 according to figures released today.

The figures are from Rajar (Radio Joint Audience Research Ltd), an independent survey
system which tracks radio listening for both Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ and commercial stations.

The
period measured was from January to June 2006.
Ìý
Steve Taschini, Executive Editor at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Oxford 95.2 FM, says: "I'm delighted.
These figures demonstrate that the station is connecting well with both
traditional and new audiences in the county at a time when competition is
increasing."
