Ofcom today published the final report and conclusions of its television public service broadcasting review.
Ìý
The Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ responded: "Ofcom has produced a comprehensive report about public service broadcasting in the UK including recommendations for regulatory authority over the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ.
Ìý
"The current arrangements were enshrined in the Communications Act only 18 months ago after full and detailed debate and scrutiny in Parliament.
Ìý
"The Governors believe these arrangements are working well and see no reason to start trying to undo any of them.
Ìý
"We have participated fully in the debate about the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ's future to date, including its system of governance. We now await the Government's Green Paper."
