An innovative
television project which aims to document life in Britain is coming
to Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Daytime.
Ìý
All in a Day will feature a wide range of stories
documenting the extraordinary lives that ordinary people lead –
whether it be the birth of a child, leaving home for the first time,
coming out of prison, or out of the closet.
Ìý
Each film will be shot within a 24-hour period, and
will be made by the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ's in-house Factual team.
Ìý
Distinguished film-maker Paul Watson, who created
memorable documentaries The Family, The Fishing Party and Malcolm &
Barbara, will act as mentor to the documentary makers involved in the
project.

Alison Sharman, Controller of Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Daytime, said: "This
is an exciting commission that will offer Daytime viewers a compelling
snapshot of life in Britain today, and will be a fantastic addition
to the portfolio of strong programming on Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Daytime."

opportunity to make distinctive and original films that will reflect
life in Britain today."

All in a Day will transmit on Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ ONE Daytime in 2005.
