The Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Proms welcomes back virtuoso Amercian trumpeter Wynton Marsalis
and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra for a Late Night Prom celebrating
the rhythms and riffs of the Golden Age of Swing!
As part of a world tour, Wynton Marsalis directs the Lincoln Center
Jazz Orchestra, takes centre stage on the trumpet and announces each
set.
His 2002 Proms appearance was a complete sell-out.
Tickets to the 2004 Proms concert are selling fast but there are 1000
standing tickets available on the day at just £4!
The Late Night Proms are now an integral and popular part of the Proms
season.
The concert is broadcast live on Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Radio 3, streamed live online
and broadcast on Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ FOUR.
